Historic Main Street
Childers is a national trust town and its main street has a number of well preserved historic and heritage listed buildings. Take a walk along main street or take the "Historic Childers street walk" (get your map from the visitors centre)
With 4 main buildings converted into museums, a schoolhouse, cottage, general store and post office as well as 2 old steam trains and rotunda. Great place for a picnic.
The Old Pharmacy

The Paragon Theatre is a rare surviving 1920’s, state heritage listed entertainment venue offering classic and cult films as well as private hires and group packages.
